By consolidating the interests of private owner-operator shipping, DTG has reached a position comparable
with that of a shipping company, in order to also negotiate large-scale cargo packages.
And because owner-operators are also partners in the cooperative, they also have a vested interest
in more than fulfilling their customers’ expectations.

The DTG fleet of vessels currently carries around six million tonnes of goods per year. Around 30 per cent of this consists of agricultural and forestry goods, including foods and feedstuffs, around 23 per cent non-metallic minerals, approx. 18 per cent solid fossil fuels and around ten per cent iron and steel products.
